Latte Land Moving to the Northland

Here's more evidence that things are perking up in "the Plaza - NORTH". Latte Land, a Plaza icon, is planning 2 new stores in the Northland - one in Zona Rosa, the other in Briarcliff Village, at the intersection of 169 and I-29 hiways. The two original Latte Land Espresso shops, owned by Jeff Schmidt, have been in head to head competition with Starbucks on the Plaza. After turning down overtures from Starbucks to buy his businesses, Schmidt has decided instead to expand into the growing Northland area.

The new Latte Land in Zona Rosa is scheduled to open today, July 31st. I don't know about you, but I'm eagerly anticipating more COFFEE in the Northland!
