Local TV Stations Believable?

There's an interesting thread going on over at KCTalk discussing the credibility of local TV news stations.

Remember when you COULD believe what you saw on the news? Or was it ALWAYS more for entertainment than edification? Growing up, we felt if it was on TV, it HAD to be true. I wonder exactly when that changed? Probably in the 60's, when it seemed EVERYTHING changed.

What do you think? Do you have a local TV news station that you trust more than the others? All I can say is that I usually switch on 41 in the mornings, to catch the traffic. But I don't really trust that either. :)
