Rain, Rain, Go away...NOT
It's a rainy, foggy morning here in KC. We need it. It's been a really hot, dry summer. Looking at the weather forcast, it looks like there might be some more rain later this week, and the temperatures are predicted to be down out of the blistering 90's and even 100's that we've had the last few weeks. That's good, in MY opinion, anyway. It's so cool to be able to flip on the weather channel and see the radar scans whenever I want to look. How did we ever get along without them?I drove home last night through the rain and thunderstorms. I watched the lightning as it zigzagged across the sky, illuminating the buildings in the downtown skyline. There's a sense of power in lightning storms that always charges ME up. It was particularly illuminating last night. It seemed to be a symbol of the power that is driving Kansas City right now.... the building and renovation that is reshaping our town. I get a charge out of it. :)
